Landscape works

This blog is a kind of partial survey of my over twenty years of painting and drawing research in landscape, still life, portrait and figurative motifs created Japan.

There is no intention on my part to make some kind of definite of statement of what I have understood about this ever changing landscape but keep the artworks that manifest themselves out of studio praxis open, as much I can, for people to hopefully appreciate the complexities of rendering the light, colour, textures in traces of pencil. line and coloured paint traces that have been recognized from various terrains optically encountered.
