Still life painting with grid markings


 



I’ve always felt the grid in human optics is innate but very hard to prove the neurological research is pretty mind binding that's for sure.
私は、人間の視覚のグリッドは生まれつきのものだということを常に感じてきましたが、神経学的研究がそれを証明するのは非常に困難で、確かにそれをかなり頭を悩ませています

These still life paintings are all on 300 g postcard size watercolor paper.
The medium use is pencil and acrylic painting.

So far in my research I have discovered these grid type markings which can be seen in Rembrandts, Paul Cezanne and William Coldstream's paintings, centuries apart. These grid like optical sensations apparently  happen when you focus on a chosen motif  or some other object as vertical with your optical sensory faculty.
